Meet the Maker
4th Generation Silversmith | Founder of Brooks 1953
Ashley Brooks
I come from a long line of Alberta makers who believed in grit, craftsmanship, and the kind of beauty you earn with your hands.
Brooks 1953 is my way of honouring that legacy — with jewelry and accessories that are unapologetically bold and rooted in western artistry.
Every piece is designed and finished in my Calgary studio, where tradition meets modern technique and each detail is shaped with intention.
This isn’t mass-produced. It’s personal. And if you’re here for something one-of-a-kind, you’re in the right place.
The Story Behind the Name
Brooks 1953
Brooks 1953 takes its name from the year my great‑grandfather, Roy Brooks Sr., registered his silver trademark.
Today, I continue that legacy in jewelry and accessories, while my father and brother carry it forward in bits and silverwork.
